Requesting a Document

CENTRL's Documents platform allows you to request documents from your Partners. You can request Documents such as Financials, Policies or Metrics from your Partners using a  centralized and secure platform. We have a pre-seeded category of documents that you can choose from when sending the request.

Note: Your recipients will receive an email notification inviting them to join CENTRL and upload the documents you have requested. 

There are two ways to request documents

Start New

This option allows you to Start a new Document Request. Using this feature, you can request one or more Documents from your Partner. You can also attach Reference documents to add context to your Document Request or to request a document in a specific format.

1. To get started, click on Documents module from the sidebar and click on the Request Document button as shown above.

2. Click on the Start New link as shown above to proceed.

3. Within the modalyou can enter the Document Name in the field box and Description is optional. You can also upload reference files. You can click on +ADD DOCUMENT to add multiple documents. Click on the Next button to continue.

4. Within the modal, you can search and select your Partner Contact. Click on the Next button to proceed.

Note: You can select more than one Partner contact from the same company at one time.

5. You can review all the details pertaining to the Document request and assign a Product and enter a due date. A default message will appear in the message box.

You can customize the message as per your requirement to send to your Partner. Click on the Submit button to proceed.

Start from Checklist

This option allows you to start a Document Request using a Checklist. Using this feature, you can select from previous Document Requests or select an existing Document Checklist, thus making it a faster method to request documents. 2. You can search from previous Requests or select an existing Checklist. Click on the Next button once done.

3. Within the modal, you can search and select your Partner Contact. Click on the Next button to proceed.

4. You can review all the details pertaining to the Document request and assign a Product and enter a due date. A default message will appear in the message box.

Your Partner will be notified via email to fulfill the Document Request.
