We are excited to introduce new features and enhancements for our upcoming October 25th, 2024 release.

This article covers the following topics:

Release Notes Summary

DD360 / BNM360 / Vendor360 / Cyber360 / Assess360 / MSA360 clients

Assessment Module

This release brings several customer driven enhancements to the Assessment Module.

All Assessment Users
  • Assessment exports now show up to 250 dropdown options, an increase from the current limit of 50.
  • Users can now define assessment custom attributes when creating upcoming assessments. Values can be set for the entire plan and for each occurrence.
  • When generating the Assessment Report or selecting Download all Files users can select which columns will appear in the assessment file.
  • In Upcoming Assessments, users will be able to add Related Partners as a column on the main tables.
    • Please Note: This is only available for instances that have been configured to select "Related Partners" when publishing assessments.
  • There is a new permission in System Admin called Modify Due Dates to restrict which assessment owners and scheduled assessment owners can edit due dates. It is enabled by default because today all owners can edit due dates.
  • The Question Bank tabs will be renamed to make it easier to distinguish between internal and external questions. Previously named ‘My Questions’ and ‘CENTRL Templates’, these tabs will now show as ‘Internal’ and ‘External’ Questions.
  • We improved performance when filtering and deleting questionnaires on the Manage Questionnaire screen to help users more effectively use duplication, filtering, and deletion to build variations of a main questionnaire.
  • We fixed an issue with scrolling through assessments with large comments.

Partners Module

This release also includes improvements to the Partners Module.

  • The partner and product files tables will support all filters, similar to the All Files table today.
  • Users will be able to see the id for products, partners, and legal entities. These columns will be hidden by default but can be added via the gear icon (table configuration). This year we refined bulk import to update based on id and this change makes it easier to see the id in the platform.
  • On the Partner table, users will now be able to show archived records. This release introduces a new Archived column that distinguishes archived from unarchived partners.

Platform

  • Within the Report Builder Module, the Issues data source will now support the Description, Resolution, and Recommendation columns.
  • Tables will support Not Equals for dropdown values. This helps with multi-select dropdowns where previously we did not have a filter for users to specify all records that do not contain this value.
  • The user audit log will now export over email.

Response Management

Response360 users can access the Response Management Module where users can upload, answer, and manage all RFPs, DDQs, and other questionnaires received outside of the CENTRL platform. In this release, we will roll out the following features and enhancements:

  • Enhanced collaboration: Users have the ability to assign questions, either individually or by section or subsection, to other users.
  • Export completed questionnaires: Users can export responses for Word or Excel-based questionnaires (DOCX and XLSX) back to their original format.
  • Review imported questionnaires: We are introducing the Compare Import feature that offers a side-by-side view of the original questionnaire file and the digitized questionnaire, making it easier for users to verify if the questionnaire has been imported correctly.
  • Support new answer types: In addition to Open Text answer type, Response Management now also supports Yes/No, Single Select, Multi Select, and Table answer types.
  • Question status tag: Improved visibility with new status tags on each question. Users can click on any row to either answer the question or review their response.
  • Partner-specific questionnaires: Through the Partner module, users will have direct access to questionnaires from Response Management.
Smart Response

Smart Response is a key feature of Response360 which uses Generative Al to automatically draft responses for questionnaires. With this release, all users will have the ability to utilize Smart Response to extract responses from your relevant documents (policies, reports, etc.) and previous responses.

For users who have access to Response Management and Answer Library modules, Smart Response will additionally search the Answer Library to find semantic matches and populate the response verbatim when there’s a match.

In this release, we made additional improvements to Smart Response.

  • We will now generate a single AI-generated answer by combining relevant information from documents and the Answer Library. Previously, we generated separate AI-generated answers — one from documents and another from the Answer Library (when the library had no semantic matches).
  • An AI-generated answer is automatically populated. Earlier, we asked users to review the answer in a different window and choose if they want to apply the answer.
  • For the Response Management module, Smart Response will generate answers for all of the available answer types (except Table). Earlier, we only generated Open Text answers.
