When answering an assessment, responders may be required to attach a file to a question or to the assessment itself. You can attach required or optional documents at a question level or assessment level. This article covers the multiple options for attaching files in an assessment.
This article covers the following topics:
The Documents Window gives users the ability to view and manage all the documents that have been attached to the assessment. Users can view, edit, and delete attachments from this window.
From the assessment's Answer Screen, click Documents to open the Documents Window as shown below.
The Requests Tab lists all questions with document requests within the assessment. This tab shows the files currently attached to each request along with an option to upload a file.
To fulfill a document request, click on the Upload icon corresponding to the request. This will open the upload window where you can upload files or select files from the File Library. Please reference the Upload Files section below for further instructions on this workflow.
The Question Attachments Tab shows all files attached to the question level. Users have the ability to view the source question, view files, and remove files from this tab.
Click the File Name to view an attached file in the file viewer. You can also delete files from a question by selecting the Delete icon as shown below.
Once in the Answer Screen, users may also upload question-level documents.
Click Attach File for the question you intend to attach documents to as shown below.
Users can attach files at the assessment level instead of attaching to a specific question. Files attached to an assessment are not associated with a particular question and can be downloaded along with question-level attachments. Users have the option to choose whether files attached to assessments can be shared with assessment evaluators or if the attached files should remain internal.
