Gmail is Google's email platform. This connector lets agents search emails and calendar events, and create draft emails, including attachments. The Gmail connector is user-specific, meaning when running an agent that uses this connector, each user will have to provide their own credentials. As a result, agents using the Gmail connector will only have access to the email account for the user running the agent.

Enable Gmail
Before agents can use the Gmail connector, a system administrator must go to Integrations and enable the Gmail connector.
Connect Gmail
Once enabled, users managing agents can add the Gmail connector to any agent. When running the agent for the first time, users will see a prompt to authenticate with their Google account.
Once the connection is finished, Gmail will be accessed based on the configured Agent's prompt. Connected agents can use three Gmail tools:
- A query tool to search emails based on content
- A calendar query tool to search calendar items based on content
- A draft creation tool to create a draft email
- The draft creation tool also supports adding attachments to the draft email.
Reset Connection
If a user needs to reset a Gmail connection, they can click Reset Credentials when on the Agent Screen, as shown below. Do this if you updated your password or have trouble running the agent.
