Assigning Questions in External RFPs & DDQs

Response360 users can utilize theExternal RFPs & DDQs Module to digitize questionnaires from various formats such as Word, PDF, and Excel. Once imported, questionnaires can be answered by permitted users. This article covers assigning questions and sections for answering a questionnaire in External RFPs & DDQs.

Navigating to a Questionnaire

Then click on the name of the Questionnaire you wish to assign:

Alternatively, click on the 3 dots icon in the Actions column and select the View Questionnaire option.

Assigning an Individual Question

  1. From the Answering Screen, click on the question you want to assign. Then, within the question card, click on the Assign To add assignee icon.png icon as shown below.

  2. Click on the Assign To dropdown arrow and select an Assignee. You can enter an optional message for the new Assignee. Once done, click on the Assign button as shown below.

    Note: Assigning "On-the-Fly" is not available, you may only select existing users within the platform.

Assigning a Section

  1. From the Answering Screen, navigate to the section you want to assign and click on the Assign To add assignee icon.png icon within the section card as shown below.

    Alternatively, if the question card is closed, the Assign To add assignee icon.png icon will be visible in the section card.

  2. Click on the Assign To dropdown arrow and select an Assignee. You can enter an optional message for the new Assignee. Once done, click on the Assign button as shown below.

Unassign the Assignee

When viewing question assignees, you have the option to unassign a collaborator for a particular question.

From the Answering Screen, click on Assignees as shown below, then select Unassign.

Within the question pane, click on the initials of the current assignee. Click the Unassign button to remove yourself as the assignee for the question. Once done, you will receive a success banner at the bottom right of the screen.

Changing the Assignee

When assigning questions or sections, you have the option to change the assignee for a particular question/section or a previously assigned assignment.

  1. From the Answering Screen, click on the question you want to change the assignee as shown below.

  2. In the question card, to change the assignee, click on the Assignee icon as shown below. Click on the dropdown arrow to select a new Assignee. You can enter an optional message for the new Assignee.

    Once done, click on the Assign button to save your changes.
