Smart Response & Response Management Permissions

As a part of Response360, users must be configured with specific Role Access by System Administrators in order to access the Smart Response feature when answering assessments and the Knowledge Base and Response Management Modules.

The Role Access matrix provided below allows System Administrators to set permissions for roles. Please see our full help articles below for more information on creating and modifying roles:

Please Note: Response Management is not available by default. Please reach out to your Account Manager or contact Support to enable this feature for your organization.

Setting Smart Response Permissions

1. In a Role Access Matrix, select the Smart Response checkbox in the Assessments row as shown below.

Setting Knowledge Base Permissions

  • Read: Users can only view Knowledge Base records.
  • Write: Users can view, modify, and verify Knowledge Base records.

Please Note: If a user does not at least have the Read permission for Knowledge Base, they cannot access the Knowledge Base Module.

Setting Response Management Permissions

  • Read: Users can access the Response Management Module.
  • Write: Users can create and manage their questionnaire records in the Response Management Module.
  • View All: Users can view all applicable questionnaire records in the Response Management Module.
  • Modify All: Users can view and manage all applicable questionnaire records in the Response Management Module.
  • Smart Response: Users can run Smart Response on any applicable active questionnaire.

Please Note: If a user does not at least have the Read permission for Response Management, they cannot access the Response Management Module.
